This is the only confirmed Bitumen Bags packaging format. Bitumen grade and shipping method vary by order confirm both with the export team as part of your RFQ.
The bag has two confirmed components: the bag itself woven polypropylene (PP), the standard outer material used across the bulk bag industry and the steel cage, which houses it and provides structural support for handling and transport of the full 1,000 kg load.
Functionally, the steel cage is what allows the unit to be handled as a rigid, supported load using standard forklift or crane equipment, rather than as a soft-sided flexible bag alone.
Cage dimensions, cage material grade, and bag liner specification aren’t published confirm these with the export/technical team if your project requires that level of detail.
Bagged bitumen is supplied to the same grade specifications as Tiger Bitumen’s wider product range. Packaging format doesn’t change the bitumen’s technical properties grade selection is independent of packaging.

The steel-caged 1 MT bag is typically handled using forklifts or cranes, consistent with standard warehouse and site equipment capable of moving a 1 Metric Ton load. Bags are placed on pallets during container loading as standard practice.
